Just a quick check-in of what I have discovered on my journey so far into a life trip of realizing my potential as an Entrepreneur.

After the urut session which happened on Tuesday, 26th June 2012, I went home with Roy's elder brother, sending him and his wife, Yuliya, home.

Razali (Roy's brother) is a very soft-spoken chap. He speaks very cautiously and very observant of the surroundings he is in. When we were inside my car, he revealed his work as an Engineer dealing with specialize parts in the railway network all around the world.

Razali started off describing all the things that he had to do in his job (i.e. from technical sales representative, setting up everything from hardware to software and even training staff of his client on how to operate the system. From where I am standing, he might as well own the company that he is currently working. Razali really opened my eyes why highly skilled personnel such as him would rather work for a living then running his own firm. The following points are what I have gather from him.

1. He does not have to worry about the nitty-gritty of running a firm. That requires him to pay his staff.
2. He would rather focus on the things that he have technical expertise which requires a very comprehensive and specialize knowledge of.

This sets me back and made me realize that highly qualified personnel would rather we leave them alone with their technical stuff and they are not geared to become an entrepreneur at all.

They may be very or extremely precise about what they are doing to the extend of putting their feet down if anyone transgress their principal but they might not be tactful enough to win contracts to get the business to sustain them. They would rather be paid and get the sense of security rather than living with the thoughts of not getting enough work to sustain the company.

At the end of my encounter with Razali, it gives me a ray of hope that not everyone especially very highly qualified individual and even perhaps graduates may think of setting up their own business. They have too much knowledge to just let it go to rest. Hence they would rather be employed and paid accordingly then worrying for the next contract the company can win over.

Whereas an entrepreneurial spirit will prosper by doing things freestyle and able to synergise the strength of his personnel under him to gain or break new frontiers of doing business and profitting from it.

Semenjak beberapa tahun, mungkin ada dalam 10 tahun kebelakangan ini setelah khidmat pengurutan di komersialkan secara berleluasa, asas atau objektif pengurutan sudah jauh tersasar dari asal. Dahulunya, seseorang akan pergi mencari tukang urut jika dia ingin sembuh dari sakit2 urat-saraf atau pun sengal2 pinggang. Terutama sekali bagi kaum wanita yang baru lepas bersalin. Untuk kaum lelaki pula, mereka akan mencari tukang urut yang dapat menguatkan "senjata" kelamin mereka atau pun untuk memulihkan tenaga dalaman mereka.

Namun sekarang, semenjak kaedah urut reflexology semangkin popular, urutan menjadi suatu riadah untuk seseorang itu merasa sedap di urut. Jadi urut untuk kesihatan sudah tidak diberi perhatian lagi. Sekarang pelanggan akan ditanya berapa lamakah mereka ingin diurut, bukan dibahagian mana harus diberi perhatian untuk menyembuhkan penyakit.

Jadi di sini saya ingin mengembalikan semula fokus urut untuk kesihatan. Melalui kaedah ini, tukang urutlah yang akan menentukan berapa lama harus dia lakukan urutan ini. Ini adalah kerana tujuannya adalah untuk merawat penyakit, tetapi ianya harus diulang-ulang sebanyak tiga kali bagi rawatan total.
